My host family was just the best family I could have looked for. They made me really feel at home from the first day until now and I really see them as my second family in New Zealand. I had an amazing time with the children, my job was very varied and everything I did was so appreciated from all of them. They tried to involve me as much as possible in their family activities, which I find so good. When I was sad or had difficulties they were always here with open arms to help me and talk if I needed to.
I was never bored of the job or had no motivation to work, because my work was fun and that’s what it should be like!
I couldn’t be more thankful and happy to have had a family like this! I’m sure all the au pairs that come after me will have the best time of their lives here, just as I have, because all of them are so helpful, open-minded, they have big hearts and try to give you as much as possible to make this adventure unforgettable!
I will always keep them close in my heart and they will be my second family on the other side of the world.
